A ceremony with me is fun, maybe a bit sweary (cover your ears granny), and brings everyone together to celebrate you and your lives. I’ll get to know you like friends (beers anyone?) and create your ceremony from scratch so that together we can create something beyond your dreams. Everything that happens during your ceremony will be because that’s what you want to happen - there’ll be no staged book signing if you don’t want it, and there’ll be absolutely none of the generic ‘insert name here’ crap. 

My own wedding ceremony was led by a celebrant and I LOVED it! We cut out all the traditional things we didn’t want, like being given away - take that, the patriarchy! We got married in tipis in my mum's garden, our vows included stuff about The Simpsons and bears with chainsaw arms, and we drank pints during the ceremony. It was 100% us, and I want that for you too. 

I’m super organised, a real problem solver, and stay cool in a tight spot, so I’m a great person to have in your corner. I’m also an ideas kind of person - bring me your wildest ideas and I’ll do everything I can to make them reality. Honestly, I get so excited and invested in a big plan that I’m getting tingly now just thinking about it.

Side note - It’s my dream to become the go-to celebrant for brewery and taproom weddings in the UK, so I’ll just plant that little idea in your brain. Let me know if it germinates!

What makes you an alternative wedding supplier? 

So the thing is I’m not all mushy about love. I won’t tell you I became a celebrant because I’m all about romance and sentiment. Obviously love is f*cking great and I will tell the story of you in a way that is 100% true to you, and will get your people laughing and crying. But a traditional wedding does nothing for me. I’m in it for the weird ones with crazy ceremony ideas. If you want to get your wedding started right, I’m going to work my arse off to make that happen. There’ll be no judgement here and no dream squashing!

What is your favourite random fun fact?

I'm not sure it's fun, but it is weird and ironic. The company that owns the trademark for the smiley face logo is extremely litigious and in 2024 launched a mass lawsuit against hundreds of people to stop them using smileys in their work. It's like the antithesis of smiley!

If you could eat 1 meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Pasta! Like many veggies, I live for pasta. If I have to get specific I'd say pumpkin ravioli with crispy sage and brown butter. Drooling!
