What makes you an alternative wedding supplier?

I want to create unique florals for EVERY couple. All wedding flowers should be personalised; an extension of a couples love story and their interests. Colour schemes, flower choices and props can all be used to convey who they are as individuals and how they come together as a couple. That might mean that one week I'm suggesting Spiderman in a centrepiece and the next I'm including forget me nots into a bouquet as a memorial to a passed relative. Love is a feeling, an emotion and flowers can so beautifully represent that if you want them to. I want to create for ALL those who celebrate love. Even flowers that might look quite 'traditional' will always have a personal touch added - that's what we pride ourselves on. A book should never be judged by it's cover - hidden and personal meanings are EVERYTHING!!!

Best live concert you've ever attended? 

I lived in Nashville for 7 years and so I went to LOADS of gigs. Music was an everyday. I learned to love Country music but I enjoy so many different genres. Music is art, Art is flowers - they're all the same - anything creative rocks! Sorry, gone off on a tangent!

What is a defining moment for you within your business?

A very recent post on Instagram where I show a picture of myself wearing my helmet to protect my head (where I had a cranioplasty removed). It was an openness and honesty I haven't shared to my clients or wedding community before and it felt like a massive step to showing who I currently am and hopefully to showing others to be brave in their own skin. To be able to use my business for that purpose is really important. Recent health issues have meant I allowed myself (and hopefully therefore my clients) to break from traditional constraints and to just be creative no matter what - even if it isn't loved by the masses.
