We've all been there - that moment when you feel like a wedding ceremony is more about formalities and less about the happy couple. Well, I'm here to change that!
My name is Em (The Leopard Print Celebrant) and I am on a mission to create unique ceremonies for couples who know there is more to a wedding ceremony than just ticking the boxes and signing a piece of paper.
I’ve been there: wanting to get married in a way that reflected not only us as a couple but as individuals too and desperate to find something that felt right for us, not just following the norm. When we found a celebrant who could conduct our ceremony at Glastonbury festival (our most favourite place) everything just clicked and we were able to be married in a way that celebrated us and many of our most treasured times together. I want to be this for you and I won’t rest until we’ve crafted something together that shows the world just how special you, and your love story, are.
Based in South Devon but covering nationwide, we will work together to craft an unforgettable celebration of your love story that will leave even the most traditional of wedding guest buzzing for more.

Don’t just say “I do” – let me help you make it truly yours!
Traditions are there to be broken and new ones forged so if you fancy doing things your way thinking outside the box, then let’s have a chat and create memories to last a lifetime.

What makes you an alternative wedding supplier?
I’ve been there: wanting to get married in a way that reflected not only us as a couple but as individuals too and desperate to find something that felt right for us, not just following the norm. When we found a celebrant who could conduct our ceremony at Glastonbury festival (our most favourite place) everything just clicked and we were able to be married in a way that celebrated us and many of our most treasured times together. I want to be this for my couples and I won’t rest until we’ve crafted something together that shows the world just how special they, and their love story, are. As a previous wedding florist for 7 years, I was always drawn to, and they seemed to be equally drawn to me, couples and venues that were a little bit different and that has continued now I'm a celebrant. My couples choose to get married in the fields and cemeteries; the zoos and the festivals and they like to do things a little bit differently. Even when I've worked with perhaps more 'traditional' couples or in the more mainstream venues, they have always wanted a twist or slightly more personal approach to their day which is very much how I like to work.

What do you do within your business to make it more accessible and inclusive?
Any correspondence I send out uses inclusive language and does not discriminate. My mother suffered from MS and relied on a wheelchair for many years, and as not only her daughter but her primary carer, I saw first hand how some people can be all too dismissive to individuals they see as 'different' to them and how making little changes can make such a positive difference to another person. My father's first language isn't English, and having worked with individuals from all over the world, and I am always cautious to never make assumptions and to always be kind and patient to everyone I meet. There is always room for improvement and I am always open to improving how inclusive I can be and any adaptations I can make both within my business and as a person.
