Alt Wedding Fair started in 2023 as a passion project of Katie, of Alt Wedding Co, Lily, of Lily Kerbey Music and Rosie, of Rosie Roberts Beauty – 3 leading suppliers within the Alternative Wedding Industry. At the end of 2025, Lily stepped back from Alt Wedding Fair to focus her time on her own thriving business!
We recognised a huge need for representation, diversity and inclusivity within the wedding industry, and to help alternative couples, who knew it was 'never a phase', find wedding suppliers that fit their wants and needs. From experience, they saw so many couples being told they couldn’t have certain features at their own big days, as it wasn’t considered wedding appropriate, and set out to challenge the perception of what the definition of “wedding appropriate” really is. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Alt Wedding Fair reinvents the wedding experience, running judgement free events, to allow every Nearly Wed to plan their dream wedding. With a focus on accessibility, they pride themselves on ensuring all events allow for comfort for all, including quiet hours with reduced numbers and noise, step free access venues, maps & info documents for pre-planning. 
Their first event, in February 2024, boasted a huge turnout, with couples travelling across the country to attend. The day featured over 35 hand chosen Alternative Wedding suppliers, fire performers, live music sets, and delicious food – all under one roof. Since the success of this event, we've organised countless more fairs, styled shoots and social events, and set up the incredible online Alternative Wedding Supplier directory, putting suppliers from across the country directly in the hands of those planning truly unique weddings.
