What makes you an alternative wedding supplier? 

I started doing wedding cakes after realising there weren’t many cake designers in my area who wanted to do alternative designs. As a huge nerd myself, I know how important it is to get the details right! I have enthusiasm and passion for alternative and fandom designs. I spend hours researching elements I might not be familiar with to ensure my couples vision is brought to life. I’m an original supplier on the Quirky Weddings directory and won highly commended at their awards a few years ago. My business name attracts my kinda people thankfully! And if that doesn’t hit the target, my work and designs do. I’m a tattooed, pink haired 40 year old woman who loves the MCU, true crime, history, music, reading, 80’s and 90’s action movies and Harry Styles, I definitely class myself as alternative!

What is your favourite random fun fact?

Cleopatra lived closer in time to the moon landing than to the completion of the Great Pyramid! History is incredible!

If you could eat 1 meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Can I say cake?! Haha! I have a serious sweet tooth! A lot of cake makers don’t like cake but I love it! And pastries! And chocolate! And sweets! Apple turnovers are a personal favourite, especially homemade ones! I also have a weakness for salted caramel ice cream. If I had to choose a proper meal though, it would be lasagne or my husband’s roast chicken dinner!
