What makes you an alternative wedding supplier? 

I love all things Alt, but don't define myself as emo or traditional, I'm Jo, I live in black, have coloured hair, tattoos, piercings and I'm vegan which makes me pretty on the edge of trad but to look at I'm pretty non alt at first glance I'm a major fan of love in whatever shape and format that comes in, my first wedding cake was for two brides followed by two grooms and then a trad couple so I have a great mix of all things love. My favourite conversations generally include, this may sound a bit weird but could we do X with the cake, so far that's been bats flying up the cake, nightmare before christmas themed, full sculpted dragon egg, corpse bride where the flowers were to look decaying as they got to the top, oh and a 3 tiered purple cake covered in spiderwebs, these are my happy place cakes!

What is a defining moment for you within your business?

Being featured in several magazines for weddings and styled shoots, never in a million years did I dream that would be a thing I'd get to be part of, its still a pinch me moment that I started my business at all, it was always a joke when I had a bad day that I was going to run away and start my bakery. Living my own dream

If you could eat 1 meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Cake!
