What is a defining moment for you within your business?
Launching was a huge achievement for me, being a corporate girly, this was a huge step outside my comfort zone. I've been lucky in my career to have had A LOT of experience with public speaking and am a natural mingler, so nerves aren't much of a thing at this point. I actually did a stand up comedy course to help me with my confidence a few years back, so if you're lucky, I might even throw in a gag or two.
Best live concert you've ever attended?
This is so tough. I am a prolific White Lies fan and have seen them at least 10 times, across the country and Europe. Real stand out gigs though include, 30 STM at Leeds festival 2011 and Prodigy at Glasto 2025. I also went on a solo adventure to see Shy FX once and that was 10/10. My music is very.... eclectic. My Spotify features anything from Offspring, to David Bowie, to Good Charlotte, with a sprinkling of Britney.
What is your favourite random fun fact?
It’s obviously not an unknown fact but I regularly remember that several breeds of birds can talk and it really amazes me.
Hey there, I'm Tia, your Yorkshire based wedding bestie. I'm an absolute sucker for love, not in a soppy way, but in a way where I want to know exactly what makes you each other's person. I am also super passionate about allowing people to be their absolute authentic selves, in every aspect of their life. It's your world, everyone else just lives in it, after all. This is especially true when it comes to your wedding!
Growing up, I never quite knew which version of myself I'd be when I woke up. One day I'd be drawing black eye liner round my eyes and moshing to Slipknot and the next I'd be dressed in my sparkliest outfit making up dance routines to S Club. I'm now in my 30's and let's just say - some things never change!
I became a celebrant after we had an AWESOME celebrant led wedding, it opened my eyes to the wonders of the celebrant world and I have since not looked back. Weddings are my muse, the ultimate blank canvas to do with whatever you wish. Some of my favourites so far include, shots to bring a lil dutch courage ahead of the vows, a ceremony certificate signed by Dave the dog and a rather chaotic game of Guess Who. My goal is to create a ceremony that tells your story and leaves you and your guests feeling ready to carry on the party, wherever that may be!
