What makes you an alternative wedding supplier? 

FLASH BSTRDS was built for weddings that don't want the traditional photo booth experience. Forget the studio-lit backdrop and forced grin-and-pose format — our booths lean into DIY, punk-inspired backdrops and setups that feel more like a gig than a wedding stall. Our flagship product, Film Fiends, takes it further: guests get handed real film cameras that circulate through the day and get returned via a drop box, with no photographer directing the shot and no prop wall dictating the pose. It's a format built on trust and unpredictability rather than curation, which is where we sit naturally alongside alternative and gothic weddings that reject the polished, generic wedding-industry look.

What do you do within your business to make it more accessible and inclusive?

We use gender-neutral language across our website and socials, and are committed to keeping that consistent as we grow. Our open booth setup allows for easy access, and we can adapt the positioning to accommodate wheelchair users. We're early in formalising accessibility adaptations more broadly, but it's something we're actively working on, starting with reviewing our enquiry process.
