Hi, I'm Jordan, and I'm the woman behind Blooming Edens! I'm a multi 'Best Florist' award winning floral designer who is trying to bring a unique floral flair to the North and beyond. Trained in a Chinese-French fusion style of floristry, I specialise in whimsical wildflower arrangements and statement blooms designed to pack a punch. With my background being in concept art & video game design, I apply artistic values to my arrangements to create strong visuals that will leave a lasting impression. I love all things weird and wonderful!
My philosophy is that I will only ever make a bouquet once: no design will be repeated, as I believe every arrangement should be unique as the person it's made for. I work closely with my couples from the first point of contact to build a strong relationship right up until the wedding day, ensuring their vision is brought to life. It is always an honour to be a part of someone's big day, and I aim to help people tell their story through art.
What makes you an alternative wedding supplier?
I'm a "retired" emo (heavy on the quotation marks!) and I adore all things weird and wonderful! I welcome all sorts of weddings, but I love applying myself to couples who have a unique vision that they'd love to see brought to life. My degree is in concept art and game design, and I apply this education to my work - a couple can give me a single word and I'll design a unique wedding look from vibes alone. Best live concert you've ever attended?
Peach PRC! Such a charming, intimate venue surrounded by a community dressed in flowy pink outfits and fairy wings and whimsical gay music??? I've never had such a positive concert experience in my life. Take me back any day!
What is a defining moment for you within your business?
Winning 'Best Florist in Berkshire' 2 years in a row, from 2023 to 2024 with my previous floristry work. To see the overwhelming support from previous clients, friends, family and strangers completely broke me in the best way, and absolutely crushed any imposter syndrome I was having until that point. It's given me such a confidence boost, and has allowed me to be my own biggest cheerleader!
