I am Chloë (she/her), the proud owner and sole member of staff at The Copper Cacti.

Elder emo nerd, crazy cacti lady and all-round fiend for the unconventional.

I am beyond proud to have won four awards for my alternative floral design,

being recognised as someone who strives to give people something different, which

means more to me than following the crowd.

There are no boundaries when it comes to my floral design. I want to give you the fun,

the whimsical, the quirky and the damn right BOLDEST florals you have ever imagined. The more creative and unique, the better; anything that shows off who you are, and what makes you, you.

I don't follow trends; I don't follow rules.

I break boundaries, and between us, we make our own rules, proving to everyone that your big day shouldn't be anything less than epic!

You can expect high-quality, beautiful alternative floral design, and because I want you to have the BEST experience possible, I like to get to know my couples and build a strong relationship with you, ensuring that I get it 100% right, all the time.

I want you to be stress-free throughout the entire process, to know that your florals are in the safest of hands, and that you will get exactly what you envision!

What makes you an alternative wedding supplier?

I always try and find couples who are looking for something different, so while I do aim to solely work with alternative couple, those waters do get muddied with working with traditional couples who want a little quirky spin in their displays which I’m totally cool with. I am a typical weirdo self proclaimed myself so people who want to do weird and wonderful things for their big day are my jam.

What do you do within your business to make it more accessible and inclusive?

I’ve been working hard to make sure my wording is more inclusive, bringing in my love of reading to refer to couples as the “main characters” rather than typical bride and/or groom. I’m not perfect at it but I work hard at it.
