I’m an alternative hair stylist specialising in vivid colour, razor cutting and creative styling, with a passion for the unconventional as well as creating a space that feels less intimidating than your average salon experience.

At the heart of what I do is an immense passion for creating a space that allows my clients to express themselves fully and without judgement whilst also making their hair goals a reality- whether that be in the studio or at an event. I absolutely love to be challenged to create something unique and creative and the ideas many of my regular clients and to-be-weds come up with blow me away and make me so excited about what I do- so bring me your brightest and daftest ideas so I can create something special for you!

I’m based in Barnsley town centre (Coven Barnsley) and I cover South and West Yorkshire and surrounding areas. 

What makes you an alternative wedding supplier? 

I work within the traditional wedding industry as well as the alternative side of things and I pride myself on my ability to adapt, however my love for alternative weddings and couples definitely gears me more towards them. The work I do in salon and out tends to be out of the box, over the top and extra colourful

What do you do within your business to make it more accessible and inclusive?

My main concern when somebody makes a booking with me is that they feel as comfortable as possible. The language I use is always inclusive, my studio space is very private, I go above and beyond to make sure my client is happy and as relaxed as possible before we begin their service, and I’m always very loud about making sure everyone knows they’re welcome to sit in my chair.

What is a defining moment for you within your business?

My biggest defining moment within my business was a very recent gender-affirming haircut service I provided. My client was over the moon with their new hair and I could tell that they were seeing themselves in a totally new light. Making the outside match the inside for people who choose me to provide this service for them is such a huge privilege.
