What makes you an alternative wedding supplier?
I like to think that I am an alternative wedding supplier for a few reasons, I am alternative myself and found that there was such a gap in the market for working with a planner who really understood my vision and personality. I think wedding planning is so personal and intimate (you spend more time together than with any other supplier!) that alt people really deserve to work with someone who understands their creative vision, and the fact that weddings do not need to follow any sort of pre-ordained plan. I love creative events that look totally unexpected, and chucking traditions in the bin. I do work with a mixture of traditional and alternative weddings, but largely like to work with alternative couples.

What is a defining moment for you within your business?
Honestly, I get defining moments all the time and these are ALWAYS when a couple say that I made their vision come to life. When I know that I have made their wedding planning journey, and their big day, everything they wanted...honoured their personalities, and made them smile - that is everything to me.
